This is a final test render of a scene I composed and set up in Daz Studio.
I'm still thinking along the lines of using images I create like this as a base reference for illustrations, to set the base scene, then draw, adding more detail and everything.
Come on, admit it...who didn't pay the electric bill??!!! Lol!!!! I'd love to see how you actually create this? It's totally virgin territory to me, which makes it more fascinating!
Lol, um, it was electric duck who didn't pay upon receiving the electric bill. lol
To create something like this, it can get a little complicated, but it's really good if you like working out problems and puzzles. If your computer is ok for software today. have a look at [link]
The software is free, but you generally have to buy the clothes and props. It can be really rewarding though when you make something nice.
Hey! Thanks for that! My computer is so slow at the mo, I won't risk it! But I was thinking I could design shapes in 3D, then make them. It's a bit difficult drawing an idea I have in 3D. But with software like that, I could plan where to start with whatever material i'm using!?
There is a package that's free that you could use for shapes if you want, though it's a bit strange to get your head 'round first of all. It'll run on slightly older computers too. It's called truespace, and it's there [link] It was a previous version that I made the two scenes that you've seen on here with. The treasure one and the wurms one.
If you don't get on with that program then there's also google sketchup, but I've never used it. [link]
